Artists // Anthony Gadd
Anthony Gadd combines his passion for drawing with a knowledge of different conventional and unconventional mediums to create richly textured works
that move from abstract to more realistic works, depending on the subject matter. His nudes evoke a subtle sensuality and the drip and dribble
technique that he uses harmonises well with the fluidity that is the female form.
His landscapes and seascapes are designed not to dominate, but rather subtly enhance any room, and portray the vastness that is Africa, while his
trees compliment any room setting and bring both texture and nature into any space. Since his entry into the art world Anthony’s work hangs in many
galleries and gracious and contemporary homes. Currently one of his landscapes is hung at the retirement home of Thabo Mbeki, while works in metal
have been used at the recently opened Convention Centre in Maropeng.
