Artists // Salomè Briers
Salomè was born in the sixties in the Boland District Paarl, South Africa and grew up on a wine farm where she got a lot of
inspiration for her paintings. She currently lives in Bloubergstrand with her husband and two children and paints fulltime
from her studio at home.
Salomè is easily influenced by her direct environment with bright colors and likes to paint with thick paint and vigorous
brush strokes.
She had numerous exhibitions in South Africa and has also exported works to as far as Australia, Europe, USA and North
Africa etc.
